Stepping out of the darkness, but walking into the sun. Leaving all of your pride behind, you'll find what you have become. Standing tall to be strong the hard way, you can fall when you're turning on a dime. Keep believing in bad excuses, and I'll come for what's mine All in good time. You have nothing to teach me. I don't need your advice. I was burned when I made the same mistake before you arrived. You can try and ignore the warnings when I've scaled up the mountain that you climb. You can find your escape from reason, but then I'll take what is mine All in good time. Go ahead and delay your reasons even though there's a mountain left to climb. Take a bow for your social treason when I come for what's mine All in good time.

My Breakdown 03:56
MY BREAKDOWN The television is all I see, held captive again in the land of free. Another day inside these walls as we watch our leaders fall. Welcome to my breakdown. Can’t you see that the fix is a part of the crime? Welcome to my breakdown. It’s all just a sign of the times. My comfort’s gone and no one’s sane. Another chance to touch your star of fame. The bridges you burn will light the way for one more day. Welcome to my breakdown. The fix is a part of the crime. Welcome to my breakdown. Another issue behind. Welcome to my breakdown. It’s all just a sign of the times. Welcome to my breakdown. Welcome to my breakdown. You keep holding on. Welcome to my breakdown. You should feel like you don’t belong. Welcome to my breakdown. Can’t you see the fix is a part of the crime? Welcome to my breakdown. It’s all just a sign of the times.

Well I'm just clocking out. Another 12 hour shift making fittings at the factory plant. My head is pounding as I get in my truck, and it's three in the morn. I got a 20 in my pocket as I pull in the lot at the liquor store off Interstate 8. A fifth of Crown from the bottom shelf will go great with my porn. Hey now, you may not like me and I know you believe I don't need to be free. Hey now, you may not say it, but you wanna be me. Stand up and take your lumps. Agree to disagree. Now there's a rash on my forearm that I can't seem to shake. I use a bucket of some mystery salve. My high cholesterol is peaking but I gotta have my chicken-fried steak. My breath, considered shocking by the people I meet, is 'cuz I don't know how to floss or brush. I won't change my dirty clothes. I haven't showered all week. Hey now, you may not like me and I know you believe I don't need to be free. Hey now, you may not say it, but you wanna be me. Stand up and take your lumps. Agree to disagree.

Where I Fly 03:36
Left alone with my feelings. Couldn't leave them behind to die. Your memory still lingers as far as my touch and as close as the sky. Where I fly, where I fly. I saw you die where I fly. Never say goodbye. Could there be any healing when there's a war fought inside my mind? My only solution is to stay or to leave you behind. Where I fly, where I fly. I saw you die where I fly. Never say goodbye. Wake up alone feeling everything hurts and I'm dying. You're walking too fast and I feel like I'm falling behind. This bottle looks empty while your words spin around in my mind. Yesterday's fallen. What happened to all of our time? Where I fly, where I fly. I saw you die where I fly. Never say goodbye. Alone with my feelings; couldn’t leave them to die.

Settle Down 04:15
FOR MILLENNIA WE'VE COME SO FAR. WE FEEL WE'VE BECOME GODS. BUT WHAT IS LOST IS HUMANITY. WE'VE WANDERED SO FAR. CLOSE YOUR EYES. LET IT ALL MELT AWAY. FEEL YOUR HEART AND SEIZE THE DAY. IT'S OVER. SETTLE DOWN. IT'S OVER NOW. WHAT DID WE SEE THAT LED TO BELIEVE WE COULD BURN IT ALL DOWN? WAS IT NOT OUR STAKE IN ALL OF THIS TO CARRY IT ON? CLOSE YOUR EYES. LET IT ALL MELT AWAY. FEEL YOUR HEART AND SEIZE THE DAY. IT'S OVER. SETTLE DOWN. IT'S OVER NOW. SIT BACK AND ENJOY OUR FALL FROM GRACE. CLOSE YOUR EYES, AND YOU'LL MELT AWAY. FEEL YOUR HEART AND SEIZE THE DAY. IT'S OVER. SETTLE DOWN. IT'S OVER NOW.

about

Compilation EP. All five League of Madfellows singles from the 2020 Covid-19 Lockdown.

League of Madfellows is an experimental idea in online recording that became a reality during the 2020 Coronavirus lockdowns. There were a number of seasoned musicians without the ability to rehearse, write, and perform, and with the limitations in online latency, there was no reliable way to collaborate in a simulated live environment (with limited exceptions that were not feasible). The idea was presented that song concepts would be posted online and various musicians would record their own tracks to the idea, and send their tracks back to the mixing engineer over the Internet.
